We measure the length of the seatpost to the bottom of the saddle rail (because saddle heights vary widely) up to the center of the crank. Our seatpost is designed vertically so you can adjust it upwards without sliding backwards. That's why we also include a set-back.
The minimum and maximum heights are:
- Long: 64-92 cm
- Regular: 58-84 cm
- Short: 50-75 cm
The set-back is measured from the front of the saddle rail clamp (because saddle lengths vary and people clamp their saddles in different places on the seatpost). So, the front of the saddle sits further forward (has less set-back). The set-back can be adjusted from 14 to 25 cm behind the center of the crank. For example, if your saddle sits 7 cm behind your crank and the front of your saddle rail clamp is 13 cm behind, you would use a set-back of 20 (7+13 cm) on the TrueBike.
