The TrueTrainer has two LEDs at the front. These can display the following statuses.
- Start-up sequence, the trainer is busy getting started
- Ready, the trainer has started and is now ready to be used. The upper LED displays the last active user, or is in guest mode
- Shutdown, the trainer is shutting down and possible updates are being performed
